This year’s theme for PDT Europe 2009 is: Effective PLM Operations – Governance and PLM Standards. For the first time we have called out Governance in a PDT Theme. To be successful over time you need good governance to ensure the overall direction, effectiveness, supervision and accountability of PLM in the organization. Alongside governance we need to try and use PLM technology. 

We need to grow with PLM lessons learned and we need to get the pay back to justify further investments during the PLM journey. PDT Europe 2009 will be filled with knowledge provided by you and all others attending; In addition to seminars and tutorials there will be time for networking, exchange and sharing of ideas and discussions. An important part is the exhibiting where vendors promote state of the art PLM technologies and services.
