PHENIX is an EADS cross-divisional program and a group-wide strategic initiative launched in 2007 to achieve harmonization of enterprise PLM methods, processes and tools between business units. EADS is making a major stride towards harmonizing its landscape and as a result will improve communications between its divisions, reduce time-to-market and increase overall product quality. A key enabler for reaching the ambitious PHENIX targets are common standards for eBusiness. Those standards have to be harmonized throughout the complete worldwide supply chain together with all involved partners, suppliers and even competitors. To enable this working process EADS supported strongly the creation of the European ASD Strategic Standardisation Group (SSG) for eBusiness standards. 

This presentation by EADS will describe the initiative that EADS leads at ASD on European Standards for PLM, in the frame of the PHENIX PLM Harmonization Program.
